Help us get "Horse Country" to the Edinburgh Fringe!
For the cost of just a couple of pints!
If you saw an awesome stage-play produced by a small, independent company, would you consider buying us a pint to share amongst the company to show your appreciation?
How about two pints?
That’d be ten quid, give or take.
Would you consider buying us those pints in advance?
Our company, Flying Bridge Theatre, have come to a tricky crossroads on a journey of a lifetime. We originally created the show to tour the UK in 2020 but Lockdown killed it and drained our resources… but the show is just too good and we’ve invested too much blood sweat and tears to let it go.
The only way to revive our touring aspirations is to take it to EdFringe.
So we asked Olivier Award winning producer, Guy Masterson (director of the West End hit The Shark Is Broken and presenter of over 150 shows at Edinburgh since 1994) to present it at the world famous Assembly venues. It'll be a perfect springboard to re-launch our Covid hit show, build connections and secure tour bookings at the world’s greatest arts festival!
However… Due to escalating costs, we are £10K short!
We have already built the show with world-renowned Olivier Award winning director Mark Bell (The Plays That Goes Wrong)
We have opened it to critical acclaim at Wiltons Music Hall in London.
We have our superbly talented cast!
We have the venue.
And then we have a script... and what a script it is!
by CJ Hopkins', this enigmatic orgy of surreal and scurrilously devilish dissention, scooped ALL the awards and a mountain of five star reviews the last time the play was in Edinburgh exactly 20 years ago.
It’s just too good a package to pack away...
So we need £10K…
But if we can get 1000 people to buy us just a couple of pints we’d make it!
Will you consider buying Flying Bridge Theatre a couple of pints and help us cover our deficit?
Or even three (£15) or four (£20) or perhaps a lovely round number five (£25)
- which would be a pint for each member of the company including stage management!
BUT anything you could spare would help.
